Michael Marek is an accomplished operations executive with extensive experience in leading operational functions across various sectors. Currently serving as the COO of SPS Switzerland since March 2021, Michael oversees operations for more than 100 clients and a workforce of up to 600 employees across Switzerland and Austria, focusing on outsourcing services for major institutions in banking, insurance, and public sectors. Prior to this role, Michael held the position of Head of Operations/COO at Swisscard AECS GmbH, managing customer touchpoints for a significant portfolio. Michael's career also includes a lengthy tenure at GE Capital, where leadership positions spanned from COO of GE Money Bank to Operations Director for CEE & Middle East, driving operational excellence across diverse teams and processes. Michael holds an MBA from WU Vienna University of Economics and Business and has furthered education at Bologna Business School and the University of Nebraska at Omaha.
