Kate Bowen is currently the Head Softball Coach at Southern Connecticut State University, a position they have held since 2024. Previously, they served as the Diane L. Potter '57 Head Softball Coach at Springfield College from 2014 to 2016 and gained valuable experience as a summer intern at the Eastern College Athletic Conference in 2014. As a player for the Stratford Brakettes from 2011 to 2013, they contributed to the team's success as National Champions in 2011, 2012, and 2013, while also earning personal accolades including the Major Softball National Championship Batting Title in 2012. Kate holds a Master of Science in Athletic Administration from Springfield College (2016) and a Bachelor of Science in Physical Education from Manhattan College (2014), graduating with a 3.86 GPA.
