FUNCTION:Â The Buyer is responsible for overseeing and maintaining inventory levels, sourcing product from vendors, assisting with developing procurement plans and strategies. The Buyer researches, analyzes, and forecasts current and future trends, markets, styles, and products in accordance with our sales and operational requirements.
**CHARACTERISICS OF A SUCCESSFUL BUYER:**Accurate and detail-oriented, strong negotiation and mathematical skills, ability to multi-task, organized, critical thinker, problem solver, manages time effectively.
REPORTS TO:Â Director of Procurement
**WORKS REGULARLY WITH:**Accounting, Vendors, Sales, Marketing, Warehouse, President, CFO, Commercial Division, and Procurement.
KEY FUNCTIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
EXPERIENCE & CAPABILITIES:
Ability to multitask and prioritize accordingly to complete tasks within time constraints.
Team Player: Collaborates with the team to solve problems and work through challenging issues.
Desire to continue to grow professionally, along with a sense of urgency and continuous improvement drive.
Excellent verbal/written communication, analytical, and organizational skills.
Must have a positive attitude, accountability, adaptability, commitment, honesty, and trustworthiness.

This is a full-time, non-exempt position that works a standard work week Monday to Friday.
