Wade Hansen is currently the Executive Director of Skin Fabrication and the Chemical Finishing Center at Spirit AeroSystems, where they lead operations and continuous improvement initiatives. Wade began their career in aviation as a manufacturing engineering intern at Spirit AeroSystems while pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering from Wichita State University, graduating Summa Cum Laude. After gaining experience at Textron Aviation as a Value Stream Leader and furthering their education with a Master's degree in Business Administration from Friends University, Wade returned to Spirit AeroSystems, quickly advancing through various leadership roles. Their journey reflects a strong commitment to improvement and a deepening expertise in the aviation industry.
