Clark Zhang is currently a Master's student at the University of Michigan, specializing in Spacecraft Systems and Management while also studying Composites and Astrodynamics. They hold a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Vanderbilt University, where they gained extensive hands-on experience through internships at Northrop Grumman and leadership roles in various student organizations, including Formula SAE and the Vanderbilt Satellite Club. With a focus on mechanism design, dynamics, and mechatronics, they are committed to advancing aerospace technologies, space exploration, national security, and climate resiliency. Currently, Clark works as a Propulsion Engineer at SpaceX, with expertise in additive manufacturing and optical systems guiding their professional pursuits.
