Musie Berhe has a diverse background in data engineering, machine learning, and natural language processing, with experience spanning several organizations. At the Information Network Security Agency, Musie held multiple roles, including Numerical Developer, Data Engineer, and Data Mining Engineer, where responsibilities included designing event log extraction agents, creating ETL processes, and developing machine learning models. A brief tenure at Enel Group involved participating in a Data Science for Business Training Camp. Currently, at S&P Global, Musie works as an AI/ML Engineer and Data Engineer II, focusing on developing multi-modal chatbots and scalable architecture for handling diverse data types. As an NLP Researcher at Masakhane, Musie is dedicated to advancing NLP research in African languages. Past experience also includes a research internship at Google, emphasizing machine translation for low-resource languages, and a summer internship at Eleo2 Engineering, which dealt with network security. Musie is pursuing further education at Maharishi International University.
