Akshay Sehgal has extensive experience in data science and AI/ML across multiple prestigious organizations. Beginning at Mu Sigma as a Decision Scientist and advancing to Senior Decision Scientist, Akshay managed predictive analytics for Fortune 500 accounts. Following a role as General Manager of Data Science at Reliance Industries Limited, where leadership of a team of over 15 data scientists focused on developing state-of-the-art models, Akshay co-founded iPredictt Data Labs Pvt Ltd, leading efforts in machine learning applications for various industries. At Mastercard, Akshay managed a team handling cybersecurity and retail innovation. Akshay later returned to S&P Global, initially as Associate Director and currently as Director of Cognitive Engineering, overseeing AI initiatives in information retrieval and generative AI applications. Additional academic contributions include serving as an Adjunct Faculty at the International Institute of Information Technology Bangalore. Akshay holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science from the Army Institute of Technology, Pune.
