Julie Zivony is an accomplished executive leader in corporate learning and development with extensive experience in driving training initiatives across diverse industries. Currently serving as Senior Vice President and Senior Director of Corporate Learning at South State Bank since January 2017, Julie oversees comprehensive training programs encompassing retail, loan, call center operations, and compliance. Prior to this role, Julie spent nearly 16 years at Verizon, where responsibilities included leading global learning initiatives for over 150,000 employees and external partners, alongside various senior leadership positions focused on employee development and strategic training. Julie's earlier career includes roles at BlueStar Communications, where Julie managed corporate training, and GTE Wireless, where Julie specialized in sales and customer support training. Julie holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Education with a concentration in Mathematics from Western Kentucky University.
