Grace Kortlander is an experienced professional in the art and valuations sector, currently serving as the Director of Operations for Valuations at Sotheby's since August 2015, following a progression through several key roles, including Assistant Vice President and Senior Account Manager. Prior to Sotheby's, Grace gained insight into the art industry through various internships and advisory roles at Quidley & Company Fine Art, Creiger Group Fine Art Consulting, and Murphy Kuhnert Art Consulting. Earlier career experiences include underwriting at The Hanover Insurance Group and roles at the Smithsonian Institution and National Gallery of Art. Grace holds a Master of Arts in Art & Museum Studies from Georgetown University and a Bachelor of Arts in Art History from the College of the Holy Cross.
