Elisabeth Banfield is a Specialist in European Sculpture and Works of Art at Sotheby's, a position they have held since 2014. Previously, they gained experience as a Graduate Intern at Christie's in the Antiquities Department and interned at the Germanisches Nationalmuseum's Sculpture Department. Elisabeth also volunteered at both the Victoria and Albert Museum and The Wallace Collection, contributing to the Sculpture Section and the Catalogue of Italian Sculpture, respectively. They hold a Bachelor of Arts in Classics from the University of Cambridge and a Master of Studies in History of Art and Visual Culture from the University of Oxford.
