Jon Simantov is a highly experienced software engineer and technical director with a robust background in the gaming industry. Early career experiences include programming roles at Cybersites and Kuma Reality Games, followed by a significant tenure at Powerhead Games, where Jon served as both Technical Director and Programmer. Afterward, a position as Manager of Game Programming and Senior Game Programmer was held at Arkadium. Jon spent nearly a decade at Google as a Senior Software Engineer before joining Sony Interactive Entertainment as a Staff Software Engineer in December 2025. Jon earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Polytechnic University between 1998 and 2001, and attended Stuyvesant High School from 1994 to 1997.
