Yuanyuan Xiao is the Vice President of Data Science at Sonoma Biotherapeutics, overseeing advanced analytics for biomarker and target identification in drug development. With a robust background in biology, bioinformatics, and statistics, Yuanyuan has significant experience in translational research, machine learning, and leading analytics teams. Prior to their current role, they held positions at Gilead Sciences and Engine Biosciences, where they focused on biomarker biostatistics and data science methodologies. Yuanyuan began their academic career as an Assistant Professor at UCSF, collaborating on cutting-edge cancer research. They hold advanced degrees, including a Ph.D. in Pharmaceutical Sciences with a focus on bioinformatics from UCSF.
