Ernest Yong is a seasoned executive with extensive experience in consumer packaging and marketing across Asia and Africa. Currently serving as VP & Managing Director of Consumer Asia & Africa at Sonoco since 2016, Ernest has previously held the role of Regional VP & GM for the same division. Prior experience includes positions at Sonoco as Regional General Manager for Asia Consumer, and at Nestlé, where roles spanned Regional Marketing Head for Nestle Nespresso in Asia, Country Manager for Malaysia, Singapore, and Indonesia at Nestle Purina, and Commercial Manager at Nestlé. Ernest began a professional career at Ernst & Young as an Auditor. Ernest holds a Bachelor's degree in Accounting from Nanyang Technological University Singapore.
