Somaco este unul dintre cei mai mari producatori de elemente prefabricate din beton utilizate în domeniul infrastructurii rutiere, electrice și de apă canal, precum și al construcției centrelor comerciale, logistice sau de producţie din țară. 
Istoria noastra începe la Roman, in anul 1954, odata cu fondarea uneia dintre primele fabrici de prefabricate din beton din România. Ne mândrim cu o experiență de peste 67 de ani în producția elementelor prefabricate din beton.
Astăzi deținem 5 fabrici (Buzău, Roman, Teiuș, Târgoviște și Timișoara), în care am investit în ultimii ani, astfel încât să asigurăm o gamă de produse în continuă creștere, adaptată nevoilor clienților, o calitate superioară a produselor și serviciilor, precum și o acoperire națională a proiectelor de construcții.
Începând cu 1 noiembrie 2019, Somaco Grup Prefabricate face parte din grupul Holcim România.
