Gavin Merchant is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in the solar and electronics manufacturing industries. Currently, Gavin serves as the General Manager of the Solar Division and Country Manager for Australia and New Zealand at SolarEdge Technologies, a role held since September 2015, which follows a tenure as Sales Manager for NSW/ACT. Prior to SolarEdge, Gavin was Sales Manager for Australia and New Zealand at SolarMax, where the focus was on grid-connected solar inverters. In earlier positions, Gavin was a Business Development Manager at Tresmine Electronics Manufacturing, specializing in full end-to-end business development, and served as a Field Sales Engineer at Braemac, managing key client relationships and exceeding sales targets.
