Aishwarya Parthasarathy is an experienced investment analyst currently with Sofinnova Partners since October 2023. Previously, Aishwarya held the position of investment fellow at BioGeneration Ventures from September 2022 to May 2023. Aishwarya's research background includes a postdoctoral research fellowship at the Netherlands Institute for Neuroscience, where the focus was on action selection in the prefrontal cortex and the development of machine learning-driven data analysis pipelines. Prior postdoctoral experience at A*STAR involved building an attractor model to understand memory retrieval mechanisms. Aishwarya began academic training with a PhD in Neuroscience from the National University of Singapore, following a Master’s degree in Computational Neuroscience from the University of Florida and a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from the Visvesvaraya National Institute of Technology.
