Anne Altringham is a Senior GIS Analyst at SLR Consulting since March 2020, bringing extensive experience in spatial data processing and analysis. Previously, Anne worked as a GIS Analyst at Atmos Consulting Ltd from August 2013 to March 2020 and as an Information and Mapping Assistant at Scottish Borders Council from August 2012 to August 2013. Anne's academic background includes a Master of Science in Geographical Information Science from the University of Edinburgh and a Bachelor of Science with Honours in Ecology and Conservation Biology from the University of Exeter. Anne's dissertation focused on train noise mapping and its implications for wildlife, emphasizing the relationship between noise pollution, wildlife conservation, and human health. Additional experience includes volunteer work at Yorkshire Dales National Park Authority, where Anne was involved in GIS data entry, analysis, and field surveys.
