Zhimei Yan has extensive experience in geophysics, currently serving as a Senior Research Geophysicist at Schlumberger since May 2016, specializing in various seismic data time processing technologies. Prior to this role, Zhimei worked as a Senior Research Geophysicist at WesternGeco from January 2007 to April 2016, where responsibilities included leading the development of irregular interpolation techniques and providing technical support. Additionally, Zhimei contributed as a Research Geophysicist/software developer, focusing on innovative seismic function modules for data processing. Earlier research work at Caltech from August 1999 to December 2006 involved imaging subsurface structures using seismic data. Zhimei holds a PhD in Geophysics from Caltech and a Master's degree in Geodynamics from Peking University.
