David Parker has a robust background in petro-technical computing and infrastructure, currently serving in Petrel Product Management at Schlumberger. Previously, they held various roles at Schlumberger, including Principal Solutions Architect, Technical Manager, and NSG Real-Time Operations Support Manager, where they oversaw the design and operational support of complex IT solutions across multiple segments. Earlier in their career, Parker was a Unix Systems Administrator and Research Programmer at the Institute of Petroleum Engineering from 1989 to 1997. They hold an MSc in Knowledge Based Systems and a BSc (Hons) in Chemical & Process Engineering from Heriot-Watt University.
