Patrick Albers has extensive experience in cybersecurity, corrections, and information technology auditing. From July 2008 to February 2019, Patrick served as a Corrections Sergeant Master at the Louisiana Department of Public Safety and Corrections, ensuring policy enforcement and maintaining high inspection scores. Following this role, Patrick worked at AM/NS Calvert as a Senior Information Technology Auditor, leading audit teams in internal assessments for the North American Steel Industry. Patrick further advanced cybersecurity expertise as a Senior Information Systems Security Officer at BAE Systems, overseeing compliance in cloud environments and conducting security assessments. Currently, Patrick holds the position of Cybersecurity GRC Lead at Slate Auto, focusing on enterprise-wide cybersecurity governance. Additionally, Patrick serves as an Information System Security Officer and Vulnerability Analyst for the Louisiana Air National Guard, managing cybersecurity posture for over 1400 users. Educational qualifications include a degree in Military Information Systems Technology from the Community College of the Air Force.
