Andrew Raj Varatharaju is the General Manager of Health, Safety, Security, and Environment at Sime Darby Property and brings over 20 years of experience in Maintenance Engineering and HSSE matters. Previously, they held senior roles at UEM Edgenta Berhad and Shell, where they were deeply involved in safety leadership and major engineering turnarounds. Andrew's focus on behavioral safety and collaboration with contractors has led to successful safety initiatives, including mentoring a contractor who earned national and ASEAN recognition. They are currently pursuing degrees in Mechanical Engineering and Business Administration at Polytechnic Port Dickson and Universiti Teknologi Malaysia, respectively.
