Martin Hedstrom is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the MEMS and semiconductor industries. Currently serving as Vice President of Foundry Services and General Manager at Silex Microsystems since September 2004, Martin has also held roles such as Director of Manufacturing, where responsibilities included managing volume production and establishing a 200 mm manufacturing line, and Project Manager for long-term projects with significant turnover. Previous experience includes a position as Senior Development Engineer at Microchemical Systems SA, focusing on MEMS gas sensors for automotive applications, and as a Design Engineer at MEMSCAP SA, specializing in MicroElectroMechanical Systems. Martin began their career as a Development Engineer at ACREO AB, working on MEMS components for mobile phones and Life Science applications. Martin holds a Master of Science degree in Physics from Uppsala University.
