Anamaria Vizitiu is a research scientist with a strong academic background, having earned a PhD in Systems Engineering, as well as a Master’s and Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science, all from Universitatea Transilvania din Brașov. They have served as a lecturer, associate professor, and teaching assistant at the same institution from 2022 to 2024. Previously, Anamaria held various roles at Siemens, including Team Lead for Products & Solutions Development and Senior Researcher and Software Engineer, where they focused on software solutions for medical equipment, leveraging expertise in machine learning, medical imaging, and deep learning. Additionally, they gained internship experience at both Siemens Healthineers and Spectralmind in 2013 and 2016.
