Sherif Okda is an accomplished engineer and academician with extensive experience in mechanical engineering. As a co-founder of Jozour Co., Sherif Okda transformed a graduation project into a sustainable business focused on converting palm waste into eco-friendly wood products. Currently serving as a Senior Staff Opto-Mechanical Engineer at Si-Ware Systems since June 2020, Sherif Okda has enhanced the NeoSpectra product line through the design and development of advanced sensors. In addition, Sherif Okda has taken on postdoctoral research responsibilities at Technische Universität Darmstadt, focusing on Active Noise Control systems for small propeller aircraft. Previous roles include a researcher at CVS3/ASUGARDS, where Sherif Okda specialized in acoustic, vibration, and thermal testing, and a research and teaching assistant at Ain Shams University, supporting core engineering courses. Sherif Okda holds a PhD in Mechanical Engineering from Technische Universität Darmstadt, complemented by a Master's and Bachelor's degree from Ain Shams University.
