Brij Bhushan Agarwal is the Chairman and Managing Director of Shyam Metalics and Energy Limited, a position they have held since May 10, 2025, after serving as Vice-Chairman and Managing Director since the company's inception in 2002. With over three decades of experience in the steel and ferro alloys industry, they have played a pivotal role in establishing Shyam Metalics as a leading steel producer in India and the largest producer of ferro alloys. Under their leadership, the company has undertaken significant expansions and innovations, including the development of stainless steel capacities and a state-of-the-art Cold Rolling Mill. In addition to their corporate role, Agarwal is actively involved as the President of the Indian Chamber of Commerce, where they apply their industry expertise to enhance collaboration and influence policy. They are currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Business/Commerce at the University of Calcutta.
