Maria Carini, M.S., CF-SLP, is a Medical Speech Language Pathologist currently serving as an Inpatient Speech Language Pathologist at Shirley Ryan AbilityLab, where they lead neurorehabilitation care for individuals with various neurological conditions. They earned their Master’s degree in Speech, Language, and Learning from Northwestern University in 2023 and have experience as a Children’s Behavioral Therapist and PreK Response to Intervention provider. Maria is passionate about working with patients experiencing acquired neurogenic speech, language, and cognitive-communication disorders, and has contributed to research and clinical education throughout their career.
