Matthew Monteith is a Partner at Shipman & Goodwin LLP, where responsibilities include advising startups and early-stage companies, as well as handling venture capital, mezzanine lending, commercial finance, and general corporate matters. Prior to this role, Matthew was a member of the Deal Team at Connecticut Innovations from September 2009 to September 2010. Matthew holds a Doctor of Law (JD) degree from Wake Forest University School of Law, completed in 2009, and a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Economics and Political Science from Amherst College, earned in 2005.
