Dan Forward is a legal professional with extensive experience in contract negotiation and management. Currently serving as Managing Counsel for the Americas at Shift Technology since May 2022, Dan leads the legal team responsible for overseeing customer agreements in the insurance sector. Prior to this role, Dan held various positions including Senior Counsel and Business Officer at Pegasystems, where responsibilities included structuring and negotiating SaaS software licensing agreements. As Corporate Counsel at FusionStorm, Dan focused on vendor and customer agreements while ensuring compliance with internal controls. Dan's legal career began at American Tower as a Land Lease Assertions Attorney and in the Contracts Management Group, facilitating customer contracts across diverse clientele. Dan's foundational legal education was completed at Suffolk University Law School, culminating in a Doctor of Law degree, following a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature from Boston College.
