Paul Taylor is an experienced engineering professional with a strong background in control systems and commissioning within the oil, gas, and chemicals industries. Taylor's career began at Celanese Acetate Ltd as a Control Systems Engineer from 1995 to 2007, where responsibilities included leading automation projects from concept to commissioning. This was followed by roles at Emerson Process Management as Principal Engineer and Shell Petroleum Development Company of Nigeria Ltd as Instrument Commissioning Engineer and IC&A Lead. Since September 2011, Taylor has advanced to become the Commissioning & Start-Up Lead for significant projects like DOMGAS and the Forcados Terminal, and currently serves as Commissioning Manager / Package Lead for the HI OTB Project at Shell. Taylor holds a BSc in Electrical & Electronic Engineering from the University of Derby, obtained between 2001 and 2003.
