Jakob W. Rinsma possesses extensive experience in engineering, construction, and commissioning, primarily within the energy sector. Since joining Shell in June 2013, Jakob has taken on various leadership roles, including Regional CSU Manager and Operations Readiness & Assurance Portfolio Manager, while serving as a Commissioning & Start-up Subject Matter Expert for Europe. Jakob has contributed to numerous large offshore projects, leveraging expertise as an Offshore Installation Manager and Commissioning & Construction Manager. Previous experience includes leading engineering teams at ESTS and NAM BV Assen, as well as R&D engineering roles at Hoogovens. Educational qualifications include degrees in Information Technology and Electronics, Control & Automation from the Hogeschool van Amsterdam.
