Ron Sterenson is an experienced R&D Director in the Baseband Department with a focus on real-time communications systems, telecom, and modem development spanning over 25 years. They have managed both small and large development teams, including offshore initiatives, and have extensive expertise in Media Access Control and Data Link Layer protocol stack design through collaborations with international standardization organizations such as ITU-T. Ron has held leadership positions at various companies, including CopperGate Communications, Comverse Infosys, and Sckipio, where they were instrumental in advancing semiconductor technologies and software solutions for home networking and telecommunications. Currently, Ron serves as the R&D Director at Sequans Communications.
