Casey Simpkins has extensive experience in healthcare management, currently serving as the Director of Managed Care at Sentara Health since May 2017, after holding the position of Managed Care Manager. Prior experience includes roles at Riverside Health System as Payor Operations and Analytics Manager, Credentialing and Contracts Manager, and Credentialing Specialist from April 2008 to April 2017. At Lakeview Medical Center, Casey worked as a Contract Analyst from May 1999 to April 2008. Academically, Casey holds a Master's degree in Health Delivery Science from Eastern Virginia Medical School, completed leadership training in Managing through Emotional Intelligence at the University of Virginia / Virginia Tech, and earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Health Care Administration/Management from Strayer University.
