Jerome Roche is currently serving as General Counsel at Securitize since December 2025. Previously, from May 2022 to December 2025, Jerome held the position of Head of Legal for Blockchain, Crypto and Digital Currencies at PayPal, where responsibilities included advising on the development and growth of the PYUSD stablecoin and counseling product teams on virtual currency services. Prior to PayPal, Jerome was a Partner at Linklaters from January 2019 to May 2022 and at Mayer Brown from March 2007 to January 2019. Jerome also served as Associate General Counsel at TIAA from December 2005 to March 2007 and as an Associate at WilmerHale from September 2000 to November 2005. Jerome began career as an Attorney-Advisor at the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission from September 1997 to September 2000. Jerome holds a Juris Doctor degree from the University of Michigan Law School and a Bachelor of Science in Math and Computer Science from Purdue University.
