Dedra Schendzielos serves as the Senior Director of Clinical and Translational Research Operations at Seattle Children's since October 2007, overseeing clinical and translational research operations with responsibilities that include strategic planning, operational budgeting, and business process outsourcing management. Prior roles at Seattle Children's include Director of Integrated Business Operations, where Dedra managed a grant and contract portfolio exceeding $200M, and Director of Administration and Finance, with a focus on a $125M portfolio. Dedra's experience spans from roles as a Senior Business Manager to Grants & Contracts Manager at the University of Washington, where leadership in financial operations and grant management was pivotal. Earlier experience includes project management and technical support at Dorsey & Whitney LLP. Dedra holds an MHA in Health Administration from the University of Washington and a B.A. in American Studies and History from the University of Minnesota.
