Elmerissa Sheets is a seasoned Talent Acquisition and Development Leader, currently serving as the Director of Talent Acquisition and Talent Development at Scripps Health. Elmerissa's career in health care began as an Urgent Care Team Leader (RN) at Rady Children's Hospital-San Diego, where they opened the first Pediatric off-site urgent care facilities in San Diego. They advanced to become the Recruitment Manager at Paradise Valley Hospital and then the Director of Talent Acquisition at Sharp HealthCare, where they spearheaded recruitment strategies for over 18,000 employees and were instrumental in achieving candidate experience awards. Elmerissa is pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Loma Linda University, underscoring their commitment to the health care field.
