Raed Saasaa is a seasoned Power Electronics Engineer with a Master's degree from The University of British Columbia and a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from Cairo University, where they graduated with honors. Raed served as a Research Assistant at Cairo University's Power Electronics Lab from 2011 to 2013 and later contributed to the Energy Systems and Power Electronics Laboratory at UBC until 2016. With experience at Murata and Delta-Q Technologies, Raed further honed their engineering skills before transitioning to a Senior Silicon Design Engineer role at AMD from 2021 to 2023. Currently, Raed holds the position of Senior Power Electronics Engineer at Schneider Electric while also working as a Research Assistant at the Fraunhofer Institute for Silicon Technology ISIT.
