Mirwais Aslamy is a humanitarian with extensive experience in program management and social work. They served as the Deputy Head of Programmes and M&E Manager at People in Need from 2019 to 2020 and later as the Programme Team Leader at the Danish Refugee Council from 2020 to 2021. In 2023, Mirwais took on the role of Head of Office at Save the Children International after serving as Deputy Head of Office. Earlier in their career, they worked as a Juvenile Justice Social Worker with Afghanistan's Children A-New Approach from 2009 to 2012 and as an English Instructor at the Modern High Educational Center from 2004 to 2007. Mirwais holds a degree from Balkh University, where they studied from 2004 to 2007.
