Tanmay Sharma has over 15 years of diverse experience in management and leadership roles across various sectors. Initial military experience as a Captain in the Indian Army focused on artillery and special forces from April 2002 to March 2008. Transitioned to the corporate sector, taking on roles such as Sourcing Analyst and Category Buyer at Caterpillar Inc. from July 2008 to December 2009, and then serving in several positions at IBM from 2011 to 2019, including Workforce Management Leader for North America and Delivery Partner Executive for Air Canada. After a stint at Hewlett Packard Enterprise as Staffing Manager, Tanmay joined SAP in January 2025 as Director, overseeing Business Process Transformation within the Global Cloud Infrastructure & Delivery. Tanmay’s educational background includes management studies at the Indian Institute of Planning and Management and multiple certificates in weapon systems and strategies from Savitribai Phule Pune University, along with an Executive General Management program from the Indian Institute of Management Bangalore.
