Philippe Quenel is a Professeur honoraire at l’École des Hautes Études en Santé Publique (EHESP) and serves as the President of AIRPARIF. With a professional background in public health and epidemiology, Philippe contributed to the development of health monitoring systems in environmental health across various organizations, including the Institut de Veille Sanitaire and the Institut Pasteur de la Guyane. As a former consultant with the WHO and a member of multiple scientific councils, Philippe has focused on integrating scientific foundations into public health policies. Philippe’s current efforts at Airparif emphasize the importance of scientific expertise in addressing air quality and greenhouse gas reduction in the Île-de-France region.
