Peter Kalmar, PhD, currently serves as the Head of Financial Crime Data Science and Analytics at Santander UK Plc, where they lead a team of over 20 professionals in data science and analytics. Previously, Peter held various roles at Santander UK, including Senior Manager of the Customer Interactions Analytics Team, where they defined and delivered a three-year BI strategy for over 10,000 users. Peter's academic background includes a PhD in Economics, awarded summa cum laude from Szent István University, alongside an MSc in Knowledge Management from Cranfield University. Additionally, they gained early experience as a Professor’s undergraduate assistant and during their time as a trainee at OTP Factoring Asset Management Ltd., focusing on risk and return analysis.
