Educational Services is a division within Santa Rosa City Schools District Office whose purpose is to support our students, families, and schools through the work of three departments: Multilingual Services, Special Services, and Educational Services.

District-wide TOSA team, comprised of mainly elementary TOSAs, whose objective is to build and support district-wide systems of support to increase student literacy and achievement.

TOSA Team

The Educational Services team at Santa Rosa City Schools District supports the academic and holistic development of students through a collaborative effort encompassing multilingual education, special education, and career technical education. The team works to ensure equity, growth, and assessment accuracy, providing resources and overseeing programs from early childhood to high school, including English learner support, comprehensive education plans, technical training, and visual and performing arts. Key roles include directors, specialists, executive administrators, and teachers on special assignments who collectively strive to meet diverse student needs and enhance educational outcomes district-wide.

Educational Services

The Counseling and Student Support team at Santa Rosa City Schools District is dedicated to providing comprehensive support services to students and their families. This team includes Family Engagement Facilitators, Specialized Educators, Counselors focusing on areas such as Career and Technical Education (CTE) and mental wellness, and various support staff including a Community Worker and District Translation Supervisor. Their mission encompasses a range of services from facilitating family engagement and providing targeted academic and emotional support, to overseeing specialized programs such as Migrant Education, Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS), and initiatives in equity and curriculum development.

The Special Education and Support Services team at Santa Rosa City Schools District focuses on providing comprehensive support to special education students. This team ensures legal compliance, coordinates services, and delivers specialized instruction and therapies. They work collaboratively with multilingual services and educational services to address the unique needs of students, while also offering counseling and mental health support.

The Administrative and Technical Support team at Santa Rosa City Schools District provides essential administrative, financial, and technical assistance to ensure the smooth operation of educational services. They manage clerical tasks, maintain accurate program accounts, support high-level administrative functions, coordinate Covid-19 efforts, and assist with technical requirements for special programs, ultimately facilitating a productive environment for students, families, and schools.

The Program Management Team at Santa Rosa City Schools District oversees the coordination and implementation of various educational programs across the district. This includes aligning initiatives with district goals, managing resources, and ensuring effective communication among departments such as Multilingual Services, Special Services, and Educational Services to enhance student outcomes and support for families and schools.
