Takahiko Iwaya currently serves as the President and Representative Director of Sanofi Japan since September 2019, alongside the role of General Manager for Specialty Care Japan. Prior to this, Takahiko Iwaya held various senior positions at Johnson & Johnson, including Vice President of DePuySynthes and Vice President for multiple business units within The Janssen Pharmaceutical Companies from 2012 to 2019. Earlier experience includes leadership roles at LifeScan and Codman within Johnson & Johnson and a tenure as a government employee with the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare from 1990 to 2004. Takahiko Iwaya also worked as the Director of the Health and Welfare Department at JETRO. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Law from The University of Tokyo and further research at The University of British Columbia.
