Carin Ribard is the VP and Head of Global Biologics Intellectual Property at Sanofi, leading a global team of over 40 patent attorneys focused on intellectual property for biologics products. With more than 15 years of experience in the biopharma industry, Carin has held various roles, including Principal Patent Counsel at Sanofi and Patent Counsel at Merck Serono. They initiated their career as a postdoctoral fellow at the Centre national de la recherche scientifique and advanced their expertise through a Ph.D. in Genetics from Université Paris-Sud, as well as additional qualifications in patent law.
