Kay Mason is an experienced independent school leader who has served as the Head of Lower School at Isidore Newman School from 2018 to 2022 and is currently in the same role at Sandy Spring Friends School since 2025. Previously, they held the position of Head of School at St. Andrews School from 2022 to 2024. Kay is also working as a K-12 independent school educational consultant after being self-employed from 2024 to 2025. They earned a Master's degree in Elementary Education and Teaching from The Ohio State University and a Bachelor's degree in Communications from Vanderbilt University.
