Sei-Myung (Sam) Chang is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in corporate strategic planning and management. Currently serving as Executive Vice President at Samsung Electronics since December 2022, Chang leads corporate strategy and execution, focusing on growth, investment in emerging technologies, mergers and acquisitions, and strategic partnerships. Prior roles include Executive Vice President at Samsung Global Research, where future directions for electronics and technology businesses were developed, and National Policy Advisor for the Republic of Korea, focusing on digital infrastructure planning. With a long tenure at Accenture, Chang held various leadership positions, including Global Managing Director roles in Industry X Strategy and Digital Strategy. Academic contributions include adjunct professorships at Ewha Womans University and faculty positions at the Weatherhead School of Management. Chang holds a Ph.D. in Management from Case Western Reserve University and an MBA from Seoul National University.
