Julien Lecomte is an accomplished technology leader with extensive experience in software engineering and operations. Since January 2021, Julien has served as the Head of Software Engineering & Operations at Samsung Electronics, focusing on the Bixby virtual assistant following the merger with Viv Labs. Prior to this, Julien held senior leadership roles at Viv Labs, contributing to the development of innovative virtual assistant technologies from May 2017 to December 2020. Julien's career also includes significant tenures at Yahoo! Inc. where various leadership positions were held, including Director of Engineering for Yahoo Mail, and roles in the Yahoo Presentation Platform and Yahoo Search teams. Notable earlier roles include Senior Software Engineer at Scalix, where Julien led the development of award-winning web-based email and calendaring products, and Software Engineer at easyplanet. Julien holds a Master's degree in Computer Science from CentraleSupélec.
