Byron Hoare is currently the Head of Treasury and Corporate Finance at Ryman Healthcare, a position held since 2024. Previously, from 2018 to 2021, they worked at Synlait Milk Limited in various treasury roles, including Senior Treasury Analyst and Group Treasurer. Byron began their career as a Law Clerk at MetLife from 2012 to 2013, followed by a consultant role at Deloitte New Zealand from 2014 to 2016. In addition to their professional experience, Byron holds a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) and a Bachelor of Commerce (Bcom) in Finance and Law from the University of Otago and is a Chartered Accountant through Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand.
