Thierry Romain is an experienced pilot currently serving as Pilot in Command for Ryanair on the 737-800/NG since 2015. They began their aviation journey as an Air Cadet in the Belgian Air Force from 1985 to 1987 and graduated in 1989, subsequently flying F-16s. Between 1999 and 2006, they worked as a Captain for TNT Airways, flying both the Bae146 and 737-300. From 2006 onwards, they also held the position of Pilot in Command with NetJets Europe. Thierry has a Bachelor's degree in Physical Sciences, which they completed at Athenee royal de Jodoigne in 1987.
