Anthony Nuñez Fernandez is a healthcare leader dedicated to advancing health equity and expanding access to resources by removing social determinants of health barriers through strategic partnerships and data-driven community health initiatives. As a first-generation Latino immigrant and Newark native, Anthony has held various leadership roles, including Director of the Center of Excellence for Latino Health at RWJBarnabas Health and Community School Director for Newark Public Schools. Anthony's experience also includes serving as a Master Trainer for the Diabetes Self Management Program and working with community health initiatives at the Greater Newark Healthcare Coalition. Anthony earned a Bachelor of Science in Public Health from Montclair State University, focusing on Community Health Education.
