María Jesús Díaz has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. María Jesús started their career as an Internship Student at Hospital General de Manresa in 1995. María Jesús then worked at Hestia Housing and Support as a Deputy Manager and Project Worker from 1999 to 2003. From 2004 to 2010, María served as an Executive Assistant to the European Operations Manager and Managing Director Spain at Norwood by BIC Graphic. María Jesús then joined Grupo Planeta as an Executive Assistant to the CEO of Planeta de Agostini from 2010 to 2012. María's most recent position was at Russell Reynolds Associates, where they held roles such as Executive Assistant from 2012 to 2021, EMEA CoE Senior Project Coordinator from 2021 to 2022, and currently as the Research Operations Support Lead starting in 2022.

María Jesús Díaz began their education in 1992 at the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona, where they pursued a degree in Psychology. María Jesús completed their degree in 1997. During their time at the university, they also received an Erasmus scholarship and studied at the University of Sunderland for a year. In 1997, they commenced their PhD in Psychology at the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona and studied for the first two years. Later, in 2012, they attended EADA Business School and obtained a postgraduate diploma in Human Resources Management in 2013.
